Heart and lung disease affects millions of people across Aotearoa New Zealand, but not everyone experiences the same opportunities for good health.

Cardiac & Respiratory Foundation NZ uses evidence, research, education and advocacy to help address the inequalities and challenges that affect cardiac and respiratory health.

They develop and share evidence-based resources and clinical guidelines, support health professionals and communities, fund and promote research, and advocate for better policy, practice and access to care.

They believe everyone in Aotearoa should have the opportunity to breathe well, live well and receive the best possible heart and lung care — regardless of where they live or their personal circumstances.

Your gift helps champion healthier futures for New Zealanders by strengthening knowledge, driving change and supporting those affected by heart and lung conditions.

The difference your gift could make:

$25 provides an Asthma Emergency Kit for a school;

$50 supports repeated trips between home and hospital, easing pressure on families with a child receiving treatment for bronchiectasis at Starship Hospital;

$180 pays for a health professional to undertake a 12-hour course that provides critical education on asthma and COPD management.

$350 pays for a place in the foundation's Train-the-Trainers workshop, empowering community leaders with the tools to provide vaping harm education to young people in their own communities;
