BirdCare Aotearoa is Auckland’s main native bird hospital, providing life-saving clinical care to sick, injured and orphaned birds.
Kiwis love our taonga birdlife, and BirdCare Aotearoa provides trusted rehabilitation expertise to bird-rescuers across the city.
The charitable hospital relies almost entirely on the generosity of New Zealanders, with very little government funding. Your support enables state-of-the-art recovery programmes for thousands of vulnerable birds each year.
