We've helped 1000 women and families with a breast cancer diagnosis

Koha through The Good Registry makes a difference for thousands of people across Aotoaroa New Zealand each year, through our 65 charity partners.

One of those charities is Breast Cancer Aotearoa Coalition, which has received $20,000 in donations from our gifters so far.

BCAC says those donations have given more 600 than women who have just received a breast cancer diagnosis, a sense of confidence and companionship as they head into their treatment and recovery.

Donations through The Good Registry help to deliver BCAC’s Step by Step support pack, which is provided free to women with breast cancer from Kaitaia to Bluff.

The pack was developed by Kiwi women who have experienced breast cancer themselves and know how reassuring and empowering it is to have good quality, reliable and relevant information to digest in their own time, to have a diary to organise all their medical appointments, and to have a journal to record their thoughts and feelings.

BCAC says feedback on the Step by Step support pack is overwhelmingly positive, from both patients and clinicians, showing that The Good Registry donations have made a real difference to the lives of NZ women with breast cancer, and their friends and families.

Every $20 donated could send another pack to one of the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer in Aotearoa New Zealand every day - so that's 1000 packs that our Good Registry givers have now helped to deliver: 1000 women and whānau we've supported on their breast cancer journey, like Evelyne Prue, pictured above 💜💜💜

Our givers can donate to Breast Cancer Aotearoa Coalition (or any of our 65 other charity partners) with our Good Gift Cards, or by creating a registry for a special event like a birthday.
