We have another intern who has joined the Good Registry! Meet Courtenay, a Massey Bachelor of Communication graduate who is passionate about using her skills and qualifications to help make the world a better place.
Courtenay has always been passionate about nature. Growing up, Courtenay spent most of her childhood outdoors. From summers spent camping around Aotearoa, to afternoons reading under the oak and pine trees in Paremata, Courtenay’s fondest memories almost always involve being immersed in the natural world.
During her free time, Courtenay loves to explore the natural landscapes on offer around Wellington. Her favourite place is currently Wilton’s bush, where she loves to “forest bathe”; a Japanese form of eco-therapy which involves immersing yourself in a forest to soothe the senses and bring a sense of inner-tranquility. She also loves sunset strolls at dusk, by the beach in Island Bay.
Courtenay says she is very excited to join The Good Registry. She loves how the Good Registry aims to reduce our impact on the environment and spreads kindness and support to people in the community.
