Their mission is to advocate for and support dogs in the community by establishing better health and wellbeing for the dogs.
Their work began with a focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming life-chained, neglected, or abused dogs and has since expanded to include prevention, advocacy, and creating environments where all dogs can thrive.
Through empowering dog owners, collaborating with partners, identifying opportunities to help dogs, and providing education and community initiatives about reducing unwanted dogs and improving the health of dogs in need, The Dog Rescue Project looks to build a future where all dogs have a chance at a better life.
