Youthline is New Zealand's leading youth mental health and development organisation.

Every year, thousands of young New Zealanders reach out to Youthline for support during the good times and the bad. Whether a young person needs support with something they are struggling with, or they want to learn more about themselves and give back to their community, Youthline can help.

Of the hundreds of texts Youthline receives each day, one in five are related to suicide. Two in five are related to anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicide.

The Helpline is not fully funded and $1.3 million each year must be raised to continue to provide the free 24/7 Helpline.

The difference your gift could make:

$15 could provide a young person with six minutes of phone support;

$30 could help respond to six text messages through the Helpline;

$60 could provide a young person with 24 minutes of phone support.
